Caroline visited us on Friday

They are making pictures with glitter.

Glitter is always fun and messy.

 Dress up

Water Beads

I added water beads to the water play today.
There are sea shells, food coloring and dish soap
in the tub of water.

Bergen has scooped some up in a sea shell.
I told the kids that the water
beads reminded me of fish eggs.
Kalel said yum yum
and  Jayden was pretending to eat them.

It's always fun to play in water.

Soft and silky play dough

We made play dough today with
corn starch and hair conditioner.
Of course I found it on Pinterest.
I know, It sounds odd.
We added glitter for sparkles.
It smells wonderful and it makes
your hands soft after you play
with it for a while.
 The kids liked it.
They love play dough.
It was nice to try something new.

The tent

This is the tent under the purple blanket.
They have put the blanket over a table.
Then pushed the chairs up to
the table and added more blankets.
Caroline and Jayden are using the
measuring tape.

Building with Jacks and Straws

I think these are all of Bergie.
I think the other two kiddos are
hiding in the tent they made.

Supply Fee/Water Table

It is that time again for supply fee.  Monday August 5th.  $30.00 per child.
We have not decided as of yet what we are going to purchase.  I was considering
a water table.  We are looking at this one to use on the back porch.   $249.95 This one shows sand, but I would like to use water or different sensory items.  This would be great for colored lima beans in winter.
