We used table salt, course salt and ice cream salt.
We were wanting to see which one would melt the
ice faster. I could not really tell. I guess if we had
three pieces of ice and tried each one ,
it would have been easier to tell.
Once the ice started to melt and crack.
I put food coloring on it so they could see the color
go into the ice. We took turns using a screwdriver
to chip away at the ice. They had a blast!!
