Tuesday filled with fun

Today was a very busy day.
We had McDonald's sausage biscuits and fruit for breakfast.
We started our day with circle time.
During circle time this morning we talked about the days
of the week and how many days are in a week.
We sang our days of the week song.
There are seven days in a week
(to the tune of "Found a Peanut")
There are seven days
There are seven days
There are seven days in a week.
Sunday, Monday
Tuesday, Wednesday
Thursday, Friday, Saturday
There are seven days
There are seven days
There are seven days in a week.
We are also talking about Today is Tuesday.
Yesterday was Monday.
Tomorrow is Wednesday.
Another topic we talk about is "The Months of the Year"
Today is Tuesday September 11th.
We also sing a song about the months of the year.
We found this on you tube.
How many months are in a year? 12
The letter this week is Aa
What words start with Aa?
apple, ant, alligator, Ansaly.
Out topic of study this week is the apple.
This afternoon we talked about things that are different.
We used a laminated sheet I made.
You choose the apple that is different and circle it.
I sent these home with each child.
A dry erase marker can be used
so they can practice at home.
We also worked on our math skills today.
Each child received an
Apple clothes pin game.
You count the apples and choose the correct number.

Tomorrow we will be talking
about the parts of an apple.
We will be grafting apples
and making apple bread.

 This is during circle Time

Izabelle is working on spelling her name.

 We are learning to recognize
 and spell our name.

We are tearing  paper to make an apple.
This is great for working on fine motor skills.

 We played ball.
We have some future ball players among us.

 Great Job!

 Jayden loved on Edward.
Edward is the neighbor's cat.
 Water play

 Shaving Cream on the Easel

We are practicing our letter writing.
