Pet store and letter p

We read this book this morning.
It is about a little girl that is
wanting the perfect pet.
Her parents do not like any of
her choices.  She ends up with
a cactus plant named Carolyn
and a bug named Doug.

We practiced the letter Pp
and talked about pets.
Corbin and Bergen wanted to make pet frogs.

Izzy picked out all the blue and
purple crayons and
is drawing a picture.
We are practicing  P is for pet.
Bergen made legs for her frog. Ribbet!

 We saw ferrets.
They are not rodents.
They are from the weasle
and mink family and make great pets.

Chinchillas have personalities
like a squirrel in the park.
Mice - I don't like them  but the kids did.
Now a guinea pig is different somehow.
They are a great first pet.
They are playful and like interaction.

This is the only dog we saw.
It was getting groomed.
They did not have any cats today.
Fish
 Turtles
That is a frog in the corner.
 Chameleon

 Parakeets

 Cockatoo

Nature walk

I went to the store this weekend to find some
things for a fall sensory bin.
I found some items, but they were expensive.
We decided to go on a walk in Bella Vista.
I think it is too early for acorns and pine cones.
Bergen found a few acorns in the yard.

We came home and had lunch.
The flies were horrible.
There were seven on the table and
we hadn't even gotten out the food.
